Course Overview:

This training programme is designed for all personnel who will be assigned work that requires a work permit and all those responsible for arranging work.

Aims & Structure:

The aim and objectives of the Permit to Work training programme is to provide personnel with the essential theoretical knowledge on management of work permit system, objectives of the work permit system, types of work permits and contents of work permit. To also enable Appropriate Personnel to write Permits for their work areas.

Prerequisites:

No pre-requisites are required.

Course Content:

Delegates will receive theoretical and practical knowledge in the following areas:

• Need for PTW system
• Targets & KPI’s
• Roles & Responsibility
• The different types of PTW
• Work Permit Roles.
• Work Description (Steps 1-6)
• Validity of PTW
• Conditions for suspension of PTW.
• Supporting Documentation.
• The filing and documentation requirement

Certification:

Rigworld approved certification for Permit to Work will be issued on successful completion of the training programme. The validity of the certificate is three years.

Items to Bring:

All delegates must bring Photographic I.D. – PASSPORT only (original or copy)

Health:

All delegates will be asked to complete a medical questionnaire prior to course commencement.

Venue:

Delegates should report to reception for 07.45hrs, course starts at 08.00hrs, unless otherwise stated.
