Course Overview:

This training programme is designed for all personnel who will be assigned work that requires a placement of Lockout device on an energy isolating device.

Aims & Structure:

The Aim and Objectives of the Lock Out Tag Out Training programme is to provide personnel with the essential theoretical knowledge on importance of LOTO, types of LOTO, hazards associated with inadequate Lockout & Tag out and procedures required for LOTO.

Prerequisites:

No pre-requisites are required.

Course Content:

Delegates will receive theoretical knowledge in the following areas:

• Lock Out / Tag Out – Introduction
• Different types of Lock Out devices
• Requirement for Tags
• Hazardous Energy
• Requirement of Lock Out / Tag Out procedures
• LOTO Guidelines

Certification:

Rigworld approved certification for Lock Out Tag Out will be issued on successful completion of the training programme. The validity of the certificate is three years.

Items to Bring:

All delegates must bring Photographic I.D. – PASSPORT only (original or copy)

Health:

All delegates will be asked to complete a medical questionnaire prior to course commencement.

Venue:

Delegates should report to reception for 07.45hrs, course starts at 08.00hrs, unless otherwise stated.
